Linda Bark, Founder & CEO
Linda Bark is a Master Certified Coach (International Coach Federation) and a Board Certified Nurse Coach (American Holistic Nurses Credentialing Corporation). She has more than 20 years of coaching experience in her private practice as well as 15 years of training coaches nationwide. Throughout her career, Linda has pioneered new professional health pathways. In 1970, she started a nursing private practice and in the 80s she worked to introduce holistic nursing to hospitals. In the 90s, she led medical tours to China, lived in China to discover how to help Westerners create a context for Eastern healing, and served as a consultant to organizations nationwide on how to start integral healing centers. Linda recently received recognition for her book and our course companion, The Wisdom of the Whole: Coaching for Joy, Health and Success, which was awarded an American Journal of Nursing 2012 Book of the Year for Professional Development and Issues. Linda’s integral/ holistic coaching model is an innovative and unique approach to co-creating learning experiences that empower people and help them feel and maintain a sense of ease, fun and fulfillment.
Annalisa Benner, MBA, BSN, RN – Course Information Specialist
Lisa began her nursing career in the Emergency Department, where she realized the importance of caring for the whole person. As an Operating Room nurse in the 1980s, she brought relaxing music, softened lights and guided imagery to the Pre-op area. Moving into Hospital nursing leadership as a Nursing Director and Chief Nursing Officer she developed her passion for providing a healing patient experience as well as caring for the caregiver. This passion has grown into being an active member of Compassionate Louisville’s Healthcare Constellation, providing the Hearts in Healthcare; Reawakening Purpose workshops in a variety of healthcare organizations. Lisa obtained her Coaching Education from Wisdom of the Whole Coaching Academy. Since that time, she has started her own business as an on-boarding coach for Nurse Managers and works for a non-profit organization coaching post-partum women graduating from a residential addiction recovery program, as they move into independent living. She is a previous Co-leader of Kentuckiana Holistic Nurses Association, a Reiki Master and has completed training from the Center for Mind and Body Medicine.
Bob Boisson – Illustrator/Content and Marketing Consultant
Bob is currently our marketing/graphics and content consultant. He is the illustrator for The Wisdom of the Whole: Coaching for Joy, Health, and Success and also helped with content ideas, layout overviews, editing, and marketing. With most of his professional career spent in media, he focused his skills primarily in the fields of marketing, advertising, promotion, and corporate/community programs. Gannett Company experience spanned more than 30 years including posts as Marketing Director at a number of Western newspapers, and Promotion Director for USA Today in its early launch years. Concurrently, Bob has produced and exhibited art including paintings, mixed media drawings, and fine art photography and also contributed art and photography to various periodicals and books. Most recently, Bob worked as the membership development director for the Reno Chamber of Commerce, served as a Board Member for the Reno Philharmonic and the Nevada Museum of Art, illustrated the book and designed and illustrated the cover for Of Frogs & Princes by Kally Reynolds, and has attracted 10,000 world-wide followers and more than 1.7 million views on Flickr, the web’s largest photography site.
Rebecca Lara – Communications Coordinator
Rebecca (Becky) Lara is our Communications Coordinator. She specializes in customer relationship management, PR, communication and marketing. The early part of Becky’s professional career was spent as Director of Communications and Marketing for the American Holistic Nurses Association, where she advocated and promoted the profession of holistic nursing. She is excited to bring her knowledge and expertise to the Institute to help share the Wisdom of the Whole coaching model with the world.
Stephen Mann – Web and Tech Development
Stephen Mann, BA recently joined our team and is currently working on developing an integrated solution for our database and website. Steve has been working with computers since the early days of microprocessors. He has done hardware design, software development, and systems integration in areas as diverse as satellite communications, air traffic control voice systems, and vending machines. He has also built and managed networks and websites for both commercial and nonprofit organizations. With an active interest in education, dating from his undergraduate studies, Steve is now focusing on distance learning systems and knowledge portals.
Charlotte Nielsen – Research & Development Coordinator, Alumni Coordinator
Charlotte (Char) has joined the Wisdom of the Whole Coaching Academy Team as the Research and Development coordinator, as well as Alumni Coordinator. Char is a Canadian Pharmacist with experience in the community pharmacy setting and has also worked for the University of Alberta, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences as a preceptor mentor, teleconference facilitator, and faculty liaison. Since discovering energy medicine Char has become passionate about bridging the gap between allopathic medicine and energy medicine. Her role in Research and Development perfectly blends her interests for incorporating client-centered, client-empowered, and proactive healthcare into the current western medical system along with the integration of multiple perspectives (and multiple modalities) for both creating and maintaining health. Char is also excited to support graduates of Wisdom of the Whole to keep the connections and coaching conversations going!
Rosalyne Reynolds – Consultant to Business Development
RN, MN, PMHCNS-BC, MBA (Roz), is a retired psychiatric nurse, with a forty-year career in community mental health and nursing leadership. She earned her BSN at University of Nevada, Reno and her MN at Oregon Health Sciences University. She completed her MBA at Frostburg State University, Frederick, MD. While providing advanced practice nursing services to severely mentally ill adults in a variety of community mental health settings, she advanced throughout her career to leadership positions, including Director of Nursing, Agency Director and Hospital Administrator. Roz is a student in the 60-hour WOW coaching program, preparing to take her AHNA certification exam in 2016. She plans to start a private coaching practice with clients experiencing grief and other life transitions. Roz has joined our WOW team to facilitate development of an updated business plan that will guide us toward further fulfillment of our Mission and Vision.
Ani Stedman – Administrative Coordinator
Ani was born and raised in California and lives just outside of San Francisco. She has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design and many years of administration and customer service under her belt. For the last several years, she has focused her life on her young children, husband, and her love of reading. Ani is the author of all the reviews on Booknblog.com, which kept her sane whilst at home with her kids! She is currently revisiting all of her earlier interests in Feng Shui, Astrology, Symbology, Numerology, and personal betterment through self discovery. Ani is happy to have joined Wisdom of the Whole as Administrative Coordinator to support such a wonderful group of people.
Leah has a Master’s degree in Somatic Counseling Psychology and since discovering coaching, is in the PhD program in the Mind-Body Medicine program at Saybrook University in Oakland CA. Leah is passionate about empowering others to take an active role in their own health and wellbeing and is very excited to use her skills assisting our students with finding the correct path within Wisdom of the Whole.
Ruth Tongen – Organizational Development Consultant
Ruth works with Wisdom of the Whole helping with organizational process and alignment, and strategic work (play) flow and structure. She is an RN, board certified as a Nurse Coach, and has over 30 years of health care experience. Ruth has held staff, faculty, and executive roles in acute care, long-term care, research, education and employee health. She also has a master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, is a licensed acupuncturist, and owns a private practice in Minnesota. Ruth also helps organizations move through growth and transition. She facilitates focus on building solid foundations through strategic planning, staff development, and change management. She has also worked as a human resources consultant. Ruth is certified as a Senior Practitioner in Human Resources (SPHR), and is principle of Ivy Consulting, LLC.
